Perpetuum Mobile - April 2011

Apollo Music, MatAms and more

Two releases coming up from the MatAms-moniker. The "The Hills" track, which has been around for quite a while as well as a remix which I'm especially excited off as it represents the musical direction which »MatAms« is going the most. Expect both to hit digital record stores in the near future. Playing out live on NYE and at the The Von Duesz release party was a lot of fun. The latter was a huge success, whilst playing on NYE was a little different since it happened outdoors and temperatures were well below the freezing point. Anyway, there's more to expect from the live-perspective in the next few months, but more on that later.

Good Bye-Space

Finally took down the MySpace-Page. No one uses that anyway nowadays, right? All the music is of course available in the audio-section here or on Soundcloud.

Exhibition in Münster

Thanks to an invitation from Thomas Bücker a.k.a. Jean-Michel and 2 DVDs full of Münster-based field-recordings less than a week ahead of the event I had the chance to craft 5 tracks exclusively for the Werktage-Münster art exhibit.
The tracks are based around the theme "The Sound Of Münster". This is an exclusive LIVE replay of the performance that night as I had no chance to record it.

Along the way: This was officially the last experimental electronica release under my name as "Matthew Adams". All future experimental releases apart from dance music will be released under the new "Shawdams" alias. All techno productions will still be put out under "Matthew Adams".
